2010 IRONMAN Expo

The supporting programme of IRONMAN European Championship (IRONMAN Germany) 2010 again includes a sports sales fair. Numerous exhibitors will present themselves in Frankfurt’s city centre just next to the finish line from July 1st through July 4th, 2010. The range of goods comprises sports clothes, sports equipment, sports accessories as well as nutrition and services for athletes. Campaigns also for leisure athletes to take part in, the presence of a large number of leisure manufacturers and of caterers will round off this offer.



The IRONMAN Expo adds attractiveness by choosing a new area up on ‘Römerberg’. Simply the proximity to the Ironman competition and to the shopping mile ‘Zeil’ with most of Frankfurt’s shoppers per day makes it become so precious for everyone. Thousands of people pass by the Zeil every day. And don’t forget about the specialist spectators and the triathletes themselves who stroll around on their way to the race office, also located up on Römerberg. Nearby you will also find the Athletes’ Garden, the recreation area behind the finish line. On race day several thousands of spectators will gather on Römerberg. They celebrate the big finish line party including our laser show as one highlight.

The position of the IRONMAN Expo offers a ideal infrastructure. Only a few hundred meters away are pedestrian precinct, multi-storey car parks, links to the public passenger transportation system and numerous restaurants and bars.

IRONMAN Expo’s opening day, July 1st, 2010, will also see the
IRONMAN European Championship (IRONMAN Germany) NightRun. Like every year we expect a big number of runners and spectators. Registration is on Römerberg again. The NightRun marks another attraction for sports enthusiasts around IRONMAN Expo.

Your presentation within IRONMAN Expo Location The IRONMAN Expo is located on Römerberg near the finish line. For details, see area map here and in your registration documents. Price (as of August 2009) Costs for 1 sqm (square meter, approx. 3,12 sqft.) of fair space amounts to € 122,50 plus VAT. Minimum fair space per vendor is 15 sqm. This price refers to the floor ground. Tents with bottom are available for a price of € 485,00 plus VAT (Size: 3 x 5 metres). Additional charges: waste disposal/water and electric supply Additional charges apply to a fix sum of € 50,00 plus VAT for waste disposal. Please book water and/or electric supply on this blank. Water hose and electric cables (minimum required: 50 m) are not included, and can be booked for 50 € pledge. Opening hours IRONMAN Expo starts on July 1st and closes on July 4th, 2010. It is open daily from 09.00 through 20.00 hours. Assembling and dismantling Assembling has to be finished on June 30th 2010 between 16.00 and 20.00 hours. Dismantling may start on July 4th at 20.00 hours at the earliest and has to be finished by 22.00 hours. Delivery and parking The area of IRONMAN Expo is open for traffic only for delivery and removal. Parking for exhibitors is possible nearby in ‘Parkhaus Römer’ (a multi-storey car park). For the duration of IRONMAN Expo you may order a car park in ‘Parkhaus Römer’ with your registration form in advance. Such a car park ticket for the whole duration of the SportExpo (June 30th - July 4th, 2010) costs approx. Euro 60.-- + Euro 40.-- Pledge. Entry deadline and mode of payment Entry deadline for IRONMAN Expo is April 15th, 2010. Total payment for an exhibition stand is due till May 15th, 2010. Please note: Due to the well exposed location of IRONMAN Expo only restricted space is available. Entries will be accepted in the order of incoming mail.
